Our School

The school of Megaplatanos

Our school is at the centre of our village. This year 25 pupils attend the lessons, five of which live in another village, Monastiraki, which is next to ours.

There are only two teachers in our school, who teach all the subjects to two groups of pupils. The first group consists of grades A', C' & D' and the second group consists of grades B', E' & F'.

The pupil of the third (C') and the fourth (D') grades are taught the same subjects - except for Mathematics- in two sequential periods. During the first period (one school-year) all the pupils of these two grades are taught the lessons which are normally taught at the third (C') grade. During the second period all pupils are taught the lessons of the forth (D') grade. Something similar happens with the pupils of the fifth (E') and sixth (F') grades.
